Spooky Heritage Halloween Event

Pumpkin Fun

Create a Kirkham heritage inspired pumpkin, which will go on show in an amazing frightful display in the town centre! It could be inspired by the textile mills, Romans, football heritage or maybe even the biscuit factory, or a night club. You choose! Get more info and ideas from our handy Pumpkin Painting Guide.

Create your masterpiece. It can be a carved or painted pumpkin.

Deliver to Old TSB Bank, 52A Poulton Street (next to Serendipity House) on Saturday 23rd or Wednesday 27th October between 1pm & 4pm.

Look Into The Shadows

Do you have any information on Kirkham Girl’s Charity School on Poulton Street, Ash Tree House, The Black Horse, St Michael’s Church or Hillside House? Perhaps an old newspaper cutting or an ancestor with a story to tell?

Shadowy Tales & Strange Stories

Have you seen a ghost or do you live in a haunted house?

Have ghostly goings-on or phantom folktales about Kirkham been passed down through your family?

Gather around the virtual campfire to share your spooky stories at a special evening event held on Tuesday 26th October at 7:00pm. Hosted on Zoom by Northwest based artists Liz Chapman and Dustin Lyon. The artists are hoping to use these stories in an exciting art installation at the heart of Kirkham later on in the year. This workshop is aimed at adults but families are also welcome.
