This week if the first week of our Postcards from the past workshop with junior school children throughout Kirkham and Wesham. Schools throughout the area are exploring Kirkham’s rich heritage focusing on different era’s such as the Victorians, Tudors and the Romans to tie into their schools curriculum. We’re all excited to see the pieces they produce. Artworks will be on display in the town mid May for the public to view.
Tuesday’s workshop with Pear Tree School was a huge success. Pupils from Pear Tree worked really hard to create some fantastic postcards inspired by Kirkham’s Roman heritage. We can’t wait to see the end results.
