Big Nights Out

Connect with friends and family and enjoy an intergenerational evening of entertainment, you can sit, dance, but whatever you do the Big Night Out is guaranteed to bring back those good times. Fancy dress is optional.

Revel in nostalgia, enjoy the food, and enjoy the sights and sounds of each era. All we want is for you to bring your photos of nights out in Kirkham, from any era, and some of your memories, we will make copies and return them.

Meet The 'Good Times Gal'

The Good Times Gal is the life and soul of party’s past and great nights to come but she’s not just the first to the dance floor, she’s the new pal you make whilst queuing for the loo or sneaking out front to cool off and contemplate life. She’s here to listen to your stories, play your favourite songs and join you on the dance floor.

All events been planned in accordance with current government guidelines for covid. We ask that if  you feel unwell or are experiencing any symptoms, please do not attend the event. The event will be well ventilated and hand sanitiser will be readily available.

This is a project funded by Historic England planned to preserve local heritage, while providing health and wellbeing opportunities. It also involves an engagement programme, with activities being provided at day centres and nursing homes.
