Thank you to everyone who popped/bopped by to say hello at our 1st Pop Up Disco and Drop In Session with the Good Times Gal. She’s well impressed with some of the photographic evidence of wild Kirkham nights gone by. She was particularly blown away (quite literally as it was a very breezy Saturday!) by the costumes and memories shared of nights at the old Willows by these three wonderful gals!
At Tuesday’s Drop In session at Book & Beam Vera provided us with an archive of treasures of Kirkham’s history
Whilst Mark Harrington took us down the maze of Kirkham’s memory lanes as he reminisced about his days one of the towns resident DJs. A dance at Charlie Macs or cocktail at Lady Rachael’s anyone???
After all this The Good Times Gal can hardly wait to boogie on down at tonight’s 1st 60s/70s BIG NIGHT OUT! Mini skirts and flares at the ready please, your soul train awaits!
