Getting ready for the Heritage Treasure Trail

It’s been a busy week getting ready for the Heritage Treasure Trail.

We now have 100 activity packs ready to deliver to Kirkham next week where they will be handed out at the local food bank and Morrisons.

Keep an eye on this blog or the Kirkham Treasures Facebook page for further information.

This Easter holiday why not try something different- we are encouraging residents throughout Kirkham to celebrate the area’s heritage by creating their own silhouette art inspired by Kirkham’s past to display in their windows between the 5th – 11th April as part of the Kirkham Heritage Treasure Trail. Why not try creating your own window art and take part in Kirkham Heritage Treasure Trail. Easter Eggs will be awarded to the first 200 people who submit images of their artwork on display in a window. Prizes will also be allocated for the best decorated windows to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd at the end of the week, courtesy of Morrison’s.
